Fast and Efficient Service
Reports Delivered Typically Within 24-48 Hours After Field Work!
We understand the importance of timely decisions, which is why we prioritize delivering your Level 3 Soil Report quickly. Once field work is completed, you can expect your comprehensive report within 24-48 hours, allowing you to move your project forward without unnecessary delays.
At Reagan Geosciences, providing high-quality, timely Level 3 Soil Reports is our core service.
What is a Level 3 Soil Report and Our Process?
A Level 3 Soil Report focuses on soil mapping for residential and commercial septic permitting purposes. Often referred to as soil testing, perc testing, or land evaluation for septic systems, these reports help determine if land is suitable to support a septic system (on-site wastewater disposal).
Our clients typically seek soil reports when purchasing property to build a home, repairing an old septic system, or evaluating land for development. As trusted professional soil scientists, we provide reliable, detailed information to enable informed, timely decisions.
Additional Services
SoilSense Assessment Report (SAR)
Our most cost-efficient product, the SAR, is an excellent way to assess potential residential property investments for septic suitability before committing to more expensive fieldwork.
What’s Included:
Legal description/survey plat from the county courthouse.
Detailed terrain analysis.
Review and recommendations from a senior soil scientist.
Who Should Use It: Ideal for early-stage evaluations or identifying major red flags for septic suitability.
Preliminary Soil Studies (Level 1 and 2)
Preliminary soil studies are designed for large tracts of land to provide a general understanding of their septic suitability. These studies are a cost-efficient alternative to Level 3 studies but are not typically sufficient to obtain a septic permit in Georgia.
Purpose: Assess the land’s potential for septic systems.
Best For: Early-stage planning or large-scale developments.
Level 4 Soil Reports
Also known as high-density soil studies, Level 4 Soil Reports are specialized evaluations conducted when Level 3 reports reveal limiting conditions, such as shallow bedrock or high water tables.
When Required: These studies are often requested by county environmental health departments in conjunction with alternative septic designs.
Purpose: Provide a more detailed and accurate depiction of soil conditions for challenging sites.
Typically our service coverage area includes the following counties in Georgia: Butts, Clayton, Coweta, Fayette, Henry, Jasper, Lamar, Meriwether, Monroe, Morgan, Newton, Pike, Rockdale, Upson, Walton
Please reach out to us if you would like to discuss a project outside of our typical service area. We do provide our services to other areas if field work is not required and/or large enough to warrant the additional travel expenses.
